QUESTION
———
Can you save your ODBC user and password in the registry to avoid having to re-enter your password every time you connect to the database?

=========
ANSWER
———
Yes – though it seems to work better in older versions of Oracle than newer ones.

Open your Registry Editor (Run, RegEdit)
Navigate to the key:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI\<the name of the ODBC Connection you are working with>
On the right hand side of the screen, right click in a blank space, and select New, String Value
Name the value Password
Set the Value Data to your current password
